LYNX VIRAGE PROFILED IN SPORTS CAR INTERNATIONAL

line

A limited-edition Aston Martin Virage, which has been thoroughly re-engineered and upgraded by Lynx Motors International, is being profiled in the July 2003 issue of the US-based magazine Sports Car International.

The bespoke modifications carried out for a client include an increase in capacity of the original engine to 7 litres, whilst also incorporating a single Garrett turbocharger. The unit is mated to a modified automatic gearbox and produces 720bhp and 1100lb/ft of torque.

Other areas of the car to receive the Lynx treatment are the braking, cooling, suspension and fuel systems. The car is designed for effortless long distance journeys and is equally at home in rush-hour traffic or high-speed cross-country trips.
