ONE FOR THE ROAD
![]()
Three of the best 1960’s road Ferraris are driven and compared by leading automotive journalist and photographer Ian Kuah in the November 2007 issue of leading Ferrari magazine
FORZA.

The merits of each are discussed in detail with special attention being paid to a 1967 275GTB/4, which Kuah considers to be the best blend of the three thoroughbreds.
Chassis 10017, finished in the distinctive colour combination of dark blue with a burnt orange hide interior, was collected new from Maranello by the young Ferrari enthusiast, John Annis of Tampa, Florida. He covered more than 20,000 miles in the car during his ownership, and forty years later, it is still being enjoyed as a marvellous road car by current owner, John
Mayston-Taylor.
Following its restoration at Lynx Motors International, 10017 has been shown and driven in a variety of private events. The car was invited to participate in the Ferrari 60 Concorso at Fiorano, when it returned for the first time since it left the factory in June 1967, and won Best in Class - 275
GTB/4.
