MIDNIGHT BLUE – A CLASSIC RESTORATION

A 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4 (chassis No 10017) that has been the subject of a Lynx restoration is profiled by noted sports car journalist and photographer Ian Kuah in the current issue of Auto Italia Magazine.

10017 was a special order example finished in Ferrari Bleu with a pelle Orancia interior and was personally collected from the factory on 7 June 1967 by its owner,  John Annis of Tampa, Florida – his third Ferrari at the age of 21!

The car was driven around Europe by Annis during the summer of ’67, witnessing the 24 Heures du Mans and also the Belgian Grand Prix at Spa, before being shipped to Florida , where it was used as his daily driver.

Following many years in North America , the car subsequently formed part of an important private Japanese collection before being brought to the UK in 2003. 

10017 retains its original factory specification and has been granted an official Certificate of Authenticity by Ferrari Classiche.
