FEVER PITCH – THE FERRARI 275GTB/4
![]()
A special order 1967 Ferrari 275GTB/4 is
profiled by Martin Buckley in the August 2005 issue of Classic & Sports Car.
The example, chassis 10017, which is finished in its rare original colour combination of dark blue with Connolly ‘Pelle Orange’ hide interior, is one of 280 built between 1967 and 1968 as the gentleman’s express for the Ferrari connoisseur.
Following detailed research, 10017’s history has been traced to its first owner - John Annis of Tampa, Florida – who personally flew to Modena to collect his new 275GTB/4 in June 1967, aged 22.
Having been recently sympathetically restored by
Lynx Motors International, the car is participating in selected European events,
where it continues to provide a superb driving experience.
