The Lynx Eventer

Few marques can match the engineering excellence and elegance of Jaguar. The graceful lines of the XJS are complemented by the Lynx Eventer, a luxurious handcrafted shooting brake version that combined the convenience of added space with the consummate power of the XJS in an exclusive design.

Each Eventer was hand built to order and was available as a conversion to either engine size of the coupe model. The overall build time was 14 weeks and a complete photographic record was produced of the conversion process. A total of  sixty seven Eventers have been produced and their owners have found the car to be a very practical and elegant alternative to the Jaguar XJS coupe.
