LYNX D- TYPE COMPLETES THE GRUELLING MSA EUROCLASSIC RALLY
![]()
An early Lynx D -Type (L79-10), recently refurbished by Lynx, completed 2,500 miles in one week on the MSA Euroclassic.
The arduous journey behind the remnants of the iron curtain took the 200 entrants as far as the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Road conditions varied from the smooth autobahns of Germany to the pot holed highways of eastern Europe, with the entrants held to ransom by Czech police until a suitable payment was made.

Excursions on the circuits of Hungaroring, Brno and Most allowed the Lynx D - Type to use its performance to the maximum without further risk from the law.
The car drew large crowds where ever it went and owner Mark Thompson was delighted that it was one of the very few cars that did not require any mechanical assistance from the RAC organisers.
