ASTON MARTIN DB4GT FEATURES IN CLASSIC & SPORTSCAR
![]()
An extremely rare 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT (DB4GT/0107) restored and maintained by Lynx Motors International is featured in the June 2002 issue of Classic & Sportscar magazine.
‘9 KPL’ is the seventh example built (out of a total of 75) and the third in right hand drive form. Following a number of years overseas, the car was re-patriated in August 2000 by Lynx Chairman, John Mayston-Taylor and has been restored to its original factory specification.
Designed by Aston Martin as the ultimate gentleman’s racer of the time, the car is just at home on the track as on the road.

To demonstrate the car’s marvellous flexibility as an all-rounder, ‘9 KPL’ won its class at the AMOC annual Goodwood circuit sprint, whilst also being awarded Best Overall restoration at the prestigious Louis Vuitton Classic in Paris in September 2001.
