The car is a very early example being the seventh built and the third in right hand drive form. During its early years, it was used as a standard road car before being modified for racing in the 1970s. It was campaigned successfully by Aston enthusiast, Stuart Bond before being returned to original factory specification in the early 1990s.

This car is as much pleasure to drive as it is to look at, commented John Mayston-Taylor, following its award at the event. It really is the ideal blend of a beautiful body design combined with outstanding performance.

Following its success at the AMOC event, the DB4GT participated in the prestigious Louis Vuitton Classic at the Hurlingham Club on Saturday 2 June. The car was very well received and was narrowly beaten in its class by a spectacular Talbot Lago ‘Tear Drop’ that was runner-up for Best of Show at Pebble Beach 2000.

Plans for the car now include the AMOC Sprint at Goodwood Circuit, the Louis Vuitton Concours at Parc de Bagatelle, Paris in September together with selected tours.
