THE LYNX XKSS - A GREAT ESCAPE
Having restored a number of the Jaguar XKSS originals, including the car owned by Steve McQueen, Lynx Motors International have built their own version - the Lynx XKSS - a car with real star status. The build of Lynx XKSS No. 7, which is finished in classic black with deep red hide interior and black mohair hood, has now been completed and we are pleased to announce that this car has now been sold and will participate in selected forthcoming tours and events in the UK and Europe.
The XKSS has
virtually the same specifications as that of its Le Mans-winning brother; and
the Lynx XKSS remains true to the original in every detail, whilst incorporating
later Jaguar technology including independent rear suspension, uprated brakes
and a five-speed gearbox.
Like McQueen, for anyone who loves the thrill of driving a truly legendary sports car on the road or the race track, it has to be an XKSS. After all, Steve McQueen drove a Jaguar XKSS for his great escapes..
