LYNX JAGUARS TEST AT PAUL RICARD
![]()
Two
Lynx Jaguars carried out extensive track testing last weekend at the Paul Ricard
circuit in the South of France following preparation by Lynx Motors
International for the forthcoming European racing season.
Lynx
Lightweight E-type # 5 was joined by the ex- Peter Archer competition E-type
“336 PAR” (recently restored to FIA Historic Specification by Lynx) for the
shakedown and set-up sessions that were completed very successfully for both
cars.
Following
its completion in 2004, Lynx Lightweight E-type #5 has been the subject of a
number of upgrades throughout the winter including the installation by Lynx of
an original specification all-aluminium Jaguar Lightweight E-type engine,
complete with throttle-slide mechanical fuel injection and dry sump lubrication.
For
further information on the Lynx Lightweight E-type and our historic restoration
projects, please see our Press
Articles section or contact John
Mayston-Taylor directly at Lynx.
