Chassis 10017 was a special order car finished in the striking colour combination of dark blue with a rich tobacco interior and dark blue carpeting. It was collected personally by its original Florida-based owner from the factory in June 1967, and was driven by him directly to the Le Mans 24 Heures and also to the Belgian Grand Prix before being shipped to the USA, where it remained for many years.

Earlier this year, following a detailed inspection of the car by representatives from the Ferrari factory, 10017 has been granted an official Certificate of Authenticity by Ferrari Classiche.

The car will be shown together with a selection of road and competition examples of the marque at the Ferrari Factory Display at the Goodwood Festival of Speed to be held on 7th to 9th July 2006.
