1967 FERRARI 275GTB/4 WITH THE LYNX EFFECT
![]()
A rare Ferrari 275GTB/4 has been sympathetically restored to its original factory specifications by Lynx Motors International.
The model, which is considered by many as the ultimate 1960s road-going Ferrari, was manufactured between 1966 and 1968 with a total of 280 examples produced. The car is powered by Ferrari's 3.3 litre V12 unit with twin overhead camshafts per cylinder bank and dry-sump lubrication. It is fitted with six twin-choke Weber 40DCN/17 carburettors.
Chassis number 10017GT was a special-order car finished in deep blue with a Pelle Orange Connolly hide interior. The car was collected in June 1967 from the Ferrari factory in Modena by John Annis of Tampa, Florida; who attended a number of European motor racing events in 10017GT, before having it shipped to Florida for his personal use. The car then spent many years in California and more recently in Japan, before coming to the UK in 2003.
10017GT will participate in selected historic events during 2005.
